Our online Ping Website Tool allows you to test connectivity to any website from our server. This tool can be extremely useful if you need to answer the question - “Is the site down for everyone or just me?”
The Ping Website Tool employs ping utility to evaluate network latency and socket connections to check connectivity on ports 80 (HTTP) and 443 (HTTPS).
How to Use
Enter Site’s Address:
To start, enter the website’s URL, fully qualified domain name (FQDN), or IP address.
Initiate Ping:
Click on the “Check Ping” button to initiate the connectivity tests.
Review the Results:
Upon successful completion of the tests, the tool will display the following details:
- Host or domain name as extracted from the provided URL.
- Website’s IP address.
- Connection time for ports 80 and 443.
- Ping round-trip time (RTT) and statistics.
Note: Many web servers do not respond to ping requests. In such situations you need to rely on the results of connectivity tests for ports 80 and/or 443 to reach a conclusion on site’s availability.
